Made for Crank Brothers mountain cleats, the Crank Brothers Shoe Shield serves two possible functions. Mounting in between your cleat and shoe, it can work as a shim to increase the reach of your cleat toward the pedal engagement, and it also works as a protective barrier to prevent scarring from cleats on carbon-soled shoes.
